Mobile Pink Slip e-Safety Check
A pink slip, officially called an e-Safety check or Safety Inspection Report, is required by Transport for NSW for all light vehicles over 5 years old when renewing registration. Covers cars, motorcycles and trailers.

- Pass? Your digital certificate is submitted instantly to Service NSW. You can renew rego online immediately.
- Fail? You'll receive a clear repairs needed report. Fix the issues and reinspect free within 14 days.
If your vehicle doesn't pass, we'll reinspect within 14 days at no charge. The call out fee for your vehicle type still applies for the return visit. We'll always explain exactly what failed and why, in plain English.

Yes. $149 is the flat rate across the Sydney metro area, whatever you drive. For a light vehicle that is the $51 government inspection fee and the $98 mobile call out, and it includes your digital certificate. Motorcycles and trailers are also $149, split differently between the two. No extras, no surprises.
Most pre-purchase inspections take 1 to 1.5 hours at the vehicle's location. You'll receive the written report with photos shortly after, followed by a personal call from the inspector to walk through the findings.
